This Business Continuity Plan (BCP) outlines the procedures and measures we have in place to ensure that we can continue to deliver our services effectively, even under challenging circumstances.

Scope

This BCP applies to all critical aspects of our operations, including website design, marketing, and hosting services. It covers our approach to maintaining service delivery, protecting data, and safeguarding communications with clients in the event of an unforeseen incident.

Key Components of the Plan

Risk Assessment and Key Scenarios

We have identified potential risks that could disrupt our services, including:

  • Power outages or internet failures
  • System or server downtime
  • Natural disasters or environmental incidents
  • Cybersecurity breaches
  • Critical staff unavailability

For each of these scenarios, we have established protocols to minimise downtime and mitigate risks to ensure ongoing client support.

Communication Plan

In the event of a disruption, clear communication with our clients is essential. Our designated continuity team will inform affected clients promptly of any changes to service availability and provide regular updates. Notifications will be sent via email, with additional contact methods available as necessary.

Data Backup and Recovery

To ensure that client data is protected, we conduct daily backups of all client websites and project files. These backups are securely stored offsite to facilitate swift data recovery in the event of data loss or corruption. In accordance with our terms, we retain project files for one year following service completion, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Remote Working and Access Control

Our team is equipped with secure, remote access capabilities, enabling us to continue operations from any location. This ensures that critical functions, such as client support, project management, and hosting services, can continue without interruption, even if access to our main office is unavailable.

System and Server Redundancy

We have implemented redundant systems to protect against hardware failures and server downtime. Our hosting services include uptime monitoring and rapid response protocols to resolve issues within two hours of identification, as per our terms. Our hosting providers also adhere to stringent data protection standards.

Cybersecurity and Data Protection

Global Exposure maintains robust cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, anti-virus software, multi-factor authentication, and regular vulnerability scans. In case of a cyber incident, our Incident Response Plan guides our actions to contain and resolve the issue, ensuring minimal impact on client data. We adhere to GDPR compliance and relevant data protection laws, as noted in our terms.

Continuity Team Leader

Responsible for overseeing the execution of the BCP, coordinating responses, and communicating with clients.

IT and Technical Support

Ensures server stability, data backup integrity, and rapid system recovery.

Client Relations

Communicates with clients to keep them informed and addresses any concerns related to service disruptions.

Regular Review and Testing

This BCP is reviewed and tested annually to ensure its effectiveness. We make updates as necessary to reflect changes in technology, staff, and industry standards, aligning with our commitment to quality and reliability.
